MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2025

Large scale installation commissioned specially for the Statale University Court of Honor, curated by Interni during the Milan Design week.

'Oasis of Happiness' consists of 8 monumental doors embracing the Statale arches, plus one last arch in the middle of the garden, carrying a swing. Made of textile and metal, the doors act like ritual gates, dialoging with the 16th century building and creating a poetic immersion reflecting the question : what brings us joy? As always in our installation, we create spaces within spaces, conducive to contemplation and positive projection. Vibrating colors, symbols, letters on moving drapes secretly whispers our answer to the visitors : connexion is the key.

After the Milan Design Week, the installation was moved to Fidenza Village, who sponsored the production of the artwork. The fabrics were provided by Kvadratt.
